Beginning Quilting 101





This class will meet Sundays 11-4, starting July 6 and ending August 10 (there is no class on the 27th). The majority of instructions will be in the beginning of class.  This gives you plenty of sewing time, and a great time for questions! 

We will focus on:

*Proper cutting techniques
*Flying geese, strip piecing, and half square triangles, which are used in so many patterns
*Reading rulers and trimming blocks
*How to apply borders
*Quilting tips for better accuracy

You will be contacted before class to set up a one on one with instructor to pick fabric (if needed) and discuss supplies for class.



Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: You must have knowledge of basic functions of your sewing machine; stitch selection, tension control, and bobbin winding.
