If you sew, sooner or later you end up with stray buttons - they may be from a garment project or something you inherited from your grandmother. Many quilters actually collect unusual or antique buttons. Most of the time you end up with buttons that don't match. What to do with them? They can be worn if that is your cup of tea; or - you can make this lovely embroidered medallion project that can embrace each button in a delicate frame hand embroidered on q background. It appears intricate, but don't be intimidated - the embroidery is made up of simple compounded stitches. Skill Level is beginner and up
